BECF is also here to provide a financial lift to single parents and the youth who are interested in extracurricular activities.

Dear Supporters and Sponsors,
Beyond Expectations Barber College (BEBC) will be offering free “basic” haircuts to area children, grades K thru 12, to help them prepare for their first day to school. The event will take place:
- August 16, 2022 (Tuesday) at 2202 Romig Rd, Akron, Ohio 44320
- August 17, 2022 (Wednesday) at 2246 Glenwood Ave, Youngstown, Ohio 44511
Both events will be from 9:00am – 5:00pm. We want students to look their best, so they will be motivated to do their best. Our goal is to give 600 haircuts (per location) to students so they will have a fresh new look heading into the new school year, at absolutely no cost to parents.
There are two important benefits of this unique community initiative. The students at Beyond Expectations Barber College will gain valuable haircutting experience, while giving back to the community. The purpose of this event is to energize students about going back to school, because we strongly believe in the value of education. As a local business or organization in the community, we are asking for your support.
Our total cost for the event is going to be around $10,000. This includes:
- 600 Book Bags (With school supplies)
- Activities for the kids (Game Truck, Bouncy House, Ice Cream Truck)
- Advertising & Promotion
- Books and Prizes
- Food & Drinks (Hotdogs, Hamburgers, Chips, Juice)
- Live DJ
- T-Shirts
Since Beyond Expectations Community Fund is a 501(c)3, all donations are tax deductible. Anything you are able to contribute will be greatly appreciated.

100 for 100 Campaign
Beyond Expectations Community Fund is a 501 © (3) designated non-profit organization. Our main goal is giving back to our community by reducing barriers to employment and helping single parent households by offering:
- Tuition assistance to Beyond Expectations Barber College and the upcoming Beyond Expectations Beauty College,
- Free haircuts and school supplies at our annual ‘back to school’ events in Akron & Youngstown
- Cash assistance to needy families for extracurricular activities for their children
- Affordable housing for low-income families and veterans
We are asking for your support of our first “100 for 100” Campaign! By reaching out to 100 of our friends and supporters, we can reach our campaign goal of $10,000. The funds would allow BECF to continue to provide the four initiatives listed above and help to defray some of our basic operating expenses. All donations are tax deductible!
Beyond Expectations Community Fund is asking for your support by donating $100 as an individual or family. If you have a big family, ask ten members who can donate $10 each, five members who can donate $20, and so forth.
